Now, wasn't I one of those who dissed Twilight as a poorly done flick? Apparently, the assumption was that the book was equally sucky.

Wrong (even if it is true that the bestseller only sold a mere 500 books globally, before the big blockbuster).

Anyhow, turns out that the books aren't badly written. Am now on the 2nd book, New Moon. Contents are relatable, surprisingly close to heart: the abstainence, forbidden love, death being the easy way out, as compared to living life itself.
